Break Thru Day

I just learned how to post bloggerticles without even getting close to that nasty blogspot site. This will be beneficial to us all, I believe. The easier it is for me to share with you the better. Now all I need is one of those fancy fones with internet capabilities and a screen that isn't cracked down the middle with pink robo juice spilling out of it. But on the other hand, I enjoy the life I live so much that I am willing to sacrifice such luxuries to keep a little bit of that Bloomingdale cred.

Here goes nothin'...

Good Intentions

Like General McChrystal, I want to make the world a better place. I intended to post everything I ate everyday within this forum. That lasted about 3 days. I don't like excuses but my camera was stolen from my Nissan Altima soon after this manifesto had begun. My goal was not to only provide written documentation of what I consume but also enhance the experience with copious amounts of visual aids. My drive for detail was shattered. I gave it up. But I am BCK. I picked up another camera about, ehh, 4 months ago and now I finally feel ready to get out there again.

This time things will be different though. I'm setting more attainable goals. Instead of striving for a full blown comprehensive documentation of everything I put in my system (that would be cool but I just can't commit) I would like to provide the world with vignettes into my culinary activities. You can look forward to both foods I eat as well as food I prepare. My companion, Luke, has already had the pleasure of being the live studio audience for the pilot episode of my cooking show. his input has been extremely valuable and I hope to incorporate it into something YOU, the viewer, can appreciate, enjoy and learn from.

Please stay tuned for more.

Hard Boiled Eggs

I have come across a method for hard boiling eggs which I find most agreeable. A friend of mine recently referenced a wikihow article on the subject, sparking my hunger.

The recipe consists of eggs, water and salt (optional). Just put eggs in water, place on stove, throw some salt in there, heat to boil. Once the water starts to boil TURN OFF the heat source. Do not touch anything, let it set for 10-12 minutes.

Cool under crystal clear water.

Peel. Eat.
Yolk should be hard but yellow.

Dinner

SpaghettiOs

In case you were wondering this dish contains the same vitamins as a full serving of 'veggies'

Followed by a skinny Cow, Cookies and Cream

Lunch

TJ's Special

Turkey and Ham on a sub roll. Cold. Bag of chips, doritos nacho cheese.

Breakfast

At Home,
Reese's Peanut Butter cereal. Small bowl. Skim milk.

At Work,
Everything bagel, toasted. Plain cream cheese (wanted three onion cream cheese, but was already gone)

Dinner

Buffalo Steak

Sauteed mushrooms and brussel sprouts.

Boiled brussel sprouts with salt, pepper and butter.
